I’ve been so busy with other things this week I haven’t had a chance to read this opinion yet. My skim makes me think this will be an important case in thinking about the purpose of the media exemption, as well as whether such as exemption is constitutionally required. It is something I’ve written about in “Campaign Finance Laws and the Rupert Murdoch Problem,” 77 Texas Law Review 1627 (1999).
