This email message from American University’s Center for Democracy and Election Management notes the appointment of a new associate director, the move of Curtis Gans’s excellent Center for the Study of the American Electorate to CDEM, and CDEM’s revamped website. On the new website, I noticed this link to model state legislation to appoint a non-partisan election administrator, following up on Carter-Baker recommendations, which itself endorsed my approach to how to the issue.
If anyone is aware of any state legislators who have introduced this or similar legislation, please let me know.
