“CPA Releases Report on 2011 Mutual Fund Votes on Political Disclosure”

The following announcement arrived via email:

The Center for Political Accountability’s report on mutual fund votes on its model resolution on corporate political spending and disclosure for the 2011 proxy season is now available.  It shows increased support for resolutions urging political disclosure. The fact that mutual fund support for these resolutions is almost on par with executive compensation resolutions demonstrates continued and growing recognition of political disclosure as a key corporate governance issue.  The report details voting support across major mutual fund families, trends in votes on resolutions, and changes in proxy voting guidelines.  Click here to find out more.
