Fundraising Off the DISCLOSE Act: Enough Disclosure?

This website allows you to be a “citizen co-sponsor” of the DISCLOSE Act in the Senate (I guess that makes up for the lack of Republican co-sponsors). I was chuckling that Signer 24109 chooses to sign the DISCLOSE petition anonymously.
The fine print lets you know quite clearly that the page is paid for by the campaign committees of the Sen. Feingold, Leahy, and Schumer campaigns. But you’d have to click on the privacy policy link to know that “When you sign our petition, your name and email address will be provided to the sponsoring campaign committees. You may opt out at any time. These organizations may share some basic contact information with allied organizations and campaigns, in accordance with their privacy policies.”
