Justin Levitt to Join Loyola Law School Faculty

I am delighted to report that Justin Levitt has accepted a tenure-track position at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles beginning in the fall. Justin has that rare combination of academic smarts with real world litigation experience, especially in the election administration and redistricting contexts. He is a natural teacher, and already one of the leading thinkers on questions of election administration. His article (co-authored with Michael McDonald) on alleged double voting is quite important, as is his new Election Law Journal article on litigating long line concerns in advance of election day. Plus he’s got some important works in progress, so stay tuned.
Most importantly, Justin is a really nice guy, and I am just thrilled to have him working on the same campus as me.
