I make it a rule that I don’t use this blog to write about things going on in my personal life. But today I make an exception to this rule.
One week ago, my father Marty Hasen (z’l – may his memory be a blessing) passed away. Since then, my family and I have been inundated with messages of support and condolence that we appreciate very much. We have also been supported by family and friends in our homes. I cannot thank everyone enough for their words and acts of kindness. It was especially gratifying (and sad at the same time) to sit with the people in my parents’ retirement community last night, and hear their fond remembrances of my Dad, and of what a great person he was.
