Following up on this post, both sides in the San Diego campaign finance case have asked the federal district court to clarify whether the judge meant to enjoin San Diego law barring non-individual entities besides political parties, such as corporations and labor unions, from making contributions to independent expenditure committees. (The judge declined to do so as to non-individual, non-party contributions to candidates.)
