Meanwhile, at the FEC....

Tomorrow the FEC considers Advisory Opinion 2008-15, on whether the anti-Obama ads constitute express advocacy or an electioneering communication. The draft advisory opinion proposed by the FEC General Counsel is here; FEC Commisioner McGahn's alternative (which would allow much more unregulated corporate spending on federal elections) has been posted as well.

UPDATE: Bob Bauer is not impressed with the McGahn draft.
