The Federal Election Commission is set to deny a request from Democracy Rules Inc., a nonprofit organization that wants to collect online contributions from people favoring various issue positions and provide contributions to candidates favoring those positions.The FEC released a draft advisory opinion (AO 2015-03) on the agenda for the FEC commissioners’ open meeting July 16, which would deny the bid from Democracy Rules.
