“Mobile ID Stations Canceled” in Texas

I’m not sure how widespread this is, but the Texas Secretary of State’s office has apparently now canceled some local appearances of mobile stations designed to provide photo ID certificates to those who can muster the appropriate documents.  I wonder how state actions to curb outreach that provides ID might impact the balance of equities in appellate review of the district court’s order before the election.  After all, the mobile stations wouldn’t be necessary if every eligible voter already had the ID they’d need for the election if the judge’s order were not in place.
